I have a 3 plate mould with 4 cavities and an angular slider in each cavity, at less than 50k shots the slider breaks, What can i do to improve the slider life as everytime the slider changes, i need to spend a lot of time matching it in the tool as the dimensions are very fine.

Sliders break for the following reasons:

1. bad mould design
2. incorrect fitting
3. cheap tooling
4. wrong steel heat treatment
5. closing mould on part.
